There are also plenty of fun and helpful illustrations, as well as weekly summaries to reinforce key truths.

*Disclaimer: This is an intense amount of Bible reading for kids (2 chapters/day). 
Modification: Each day’s devotion focuses on a specific passage, have your child read the chapter that passage comes from. While it’s still a decent amount of reading, certainly more managable if your child isn’t ready to read the entire Bible in one year.
